On December 31, 2022, overflow from the Pope-Chaucer bridge over San Francisquito Creek flooded nearby streets in Palo Alto. According to the USGS SFC stream gauge, the flow level in the creek stream gauge was about 6,350 cubic feet per second. This is the second highest flood of record (after the 1998 flood) since measurements were started in 1932.
My thanks to the many residents of the Crescent Park neighborhood who sent these and other videos and photos to our neighborhood group.
